To allow customization before your appointment, your wig needs to be delivered to TBQ Creations at least 48 to 72 hours prior. That window gives the stylist time to inspect the wig, perform any necessary base trimming or alterations, and schedule customization work so the appointment itself focuses on application and final styling.
When you drop off a wig, note any styling requests and whether you want trimming. Bringing any accessories or reference photos with the wig helps us match your expectations. This advance delivery requirement is firm — without the 48 to 72 hours, full customization before the install cannot be guaranteed.
Application process and method
On the day of service the client's natural hair is braided down and a protective cap is applied. The protective cap is melted to the head before the wig is placed, and the wig itself is melted to the cap to secure a seamless look. This sequence — braids, cap, cap melt, wig melt — is the core of the install method used at TBQ Creations.
The standard finish for this service is a straight style; trimming is optional and can be done during the appointment. Curls are available but will add an upcharge. The salon allocates 130 MINUTES for the full appointment so there is time for precise placement, melting, and the agreed styling choices.

Appointments are scheduled with local routines in mind — convenient after-work and weekend times are available for commuters using I-49/US-71 and residents running errands along the Blue Ridge retail corridor. Because the process requires a prior drop-off, plan logistics so the wig arrives 48 to 72 hours before your booked install in Grandview.
TBQ Creations sees the highest demand in May, June, November, and December, driven by graduations, travel season, and holiday events. If you need a wig for those months, reserve slots early and allow time for the required pre-appointment customization; last-minute requests may be difficult to accommodate.
