You will learn feed-in braid fundamentals, tension balance, braid integrity, sanitation practices, and proper product use through classroom theory and hands-on demonstrations. The course includes a practical assessment, certificate, and a 30-minute follow-up session.

The academy is a comprehensive multi-hour workshop, typically lasting 4–6 hours for in-person training, plus a scheduled 30-minute follow-up to review technique and answer questions after practice.

No prior experience is required; beginners are welcome. The course suits newcomers and stylists seeking refinement, with individualized coaching to develop foundational skills and advance existing braid techniques.

Basic tools and selected products are provided during training. Students receive a materials list beforehand and may bring preferred tools. Mannequin heads are typically supplied for practice, unless otherwise noted at booking.

Upon completion you receive a TBQ Creations certificate. We also provide information and guidance on local licensing pathways and continuing education to help you move toward professional licensure if required.
